Blue Rock Thrush

Monticola solitarius

Description:

Starling-sized bird with blue and black plumage.

Habitat:

Rocky place with little vegetation. Close to the Church of the Fish and Grapes. UNESCO heritage site in Cappadocia.

Notes:

Every one was looking only at the rock cut structures, I had an eye out of biodiversity. Interestingly, I have seen this bird in India too.
