Habitat:

Savannah of Masai Mara, Kenya with single trees and shrub vegetation. Feeding on Masai giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis tippelskirchi).

Notes:

Yellow billed Oxpecker eat mostly insects and ticks and other external parasites of large mammals. He also eats wound tissues and blood of its host animals and prevent early closure of wounds. The bond to the host animals is very large. During the day, they are often seen on the back or neck of cows, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes and zebras. (Translated from Wiki, German)
