Cleopus japonicus
The larvae of the Cleopus weevil are legless, and appear as yellow, jelly-like blobs on the leaf surface. They have a small black head and grow to about 5mm in length. Brought into New Zealand as a biological control for the butterfly bush (Buddleja davidii)
