Megalaima haemacephala
This looked like quite a risky p;ace for a bird to have a nest! This barbet had it's nest hole under the branch of a gulmohar tree. The branch was approximately 20 to 30 ft above the ground. Tons of crows and Mynas on the tree! The eggs could easily fall. Fledglings were at risk of falling too. It was very well camouflaged . The barbet was hardly visible against the green gulmohar leaves. The barbet seemed to be feeding a chick as it stayed there for a long time.
