Passer domesticus
This picture shows a male house sparrow. It was found with multiple other birds near it, in the same tree. There were about 7 or 8 sparrows that I noticed and birds of other species.
This house sparrow was in a tree, in a field behind a church. It was in a neighborhood with lots of houses surrounding it, in West Valley City, Utah.
This bird is a Male House Sparrow. They are different from the females in how they look. The males have more colors than the females. They have gray, white, black, and red, while the females have mostly only brown and black.
