Tephromela sp.
Crustose lichen with a white wrinkly or warty thallus and black lecanorine apothecia with a white margin matching the thallus. That lichen was covering a large area on the tree, and was also in other smaller clumps on other parts of it.
On a cedar tree in an area surrounded by salt marsh. Many lichen species present here, predominantly on the cedar, Carolina Wolfberry (Lycium carolinianum), and some oak trees.
