Mountain Cottontail

Sylvilagus nuttallii

Description:

A smallish rabbit, gray-brown coloration and a white tail. The mountain cottontail has somewhat smaller ears, because it gets colder and doesn't need to cool it's blood as much. This one was about half-grown, being about eight inches long.
