Spotting

Description:

A small tree, about 18 feet tall, with many small white flowers. It's bark was greyish brown with some light colored areas. It's leaves are about 2 inches long, and they did not look serrated.

Habitat:

Found in my front yard, growing alongside mixed brush and loblolly pines

Notes:

I did not see any pollinating insects at this tree ( Butterflies, bees )

Definitely a member of the Rose family- Rosaceae. Possibly a serviceberry (Amelanchier).
