Bald Eagle

Haliaeetus leucocephalus

Description:

White head and tail feathers, brown back, with yellow beak and legs.

Habitat:

Barrier island, sandy with pine, live oak and various bushes/shrubs.

Notes:

The pair were just standing there on the beach, the gulf side of western Santa Rosa Island, Florida. Sadly they took off before I could get close enough to get a good picture.
