Wood Violet

Viola odorata

Description:

These violets seem to have popped up overnight and they are everywhere. Most of them are purple but there are a few white ones which I think are the same species.

Does anyone recognize this wildflower? I've seen it everywhere in all types of habitats and the leaves are heart-shaped, similar to celandine.
