White-Tailed Deer

Description:

White-tailed deer with white spots just around 2 to 3 feet long. Spotted eating plants and this is just a picture of two but there was about four or five spotted moving together through the neighborhood.

Habitat:

Whitetail deer are usually seen surviving in a variety of habitats, from the woods of northern Maine to the deep saw grass and hammock swamps of Florida. They also inhabit farmlands, brushy areas and such areas of the west such as the cactus and thornbrush deserts of southern Texas and Mexico. Although I spotted these deer in the suburbs of Maryland with many areas of grass and vegetation.

Notes:

I recognized these deer easily outside my home in Bowie. These white-tailed deer were taking a family stroll through the neighborhood grazing on plants right off the shoulder of the street.
