Native to South America and Africa,this bird has goose like traits with a long neck and legs.Although they are adept swimmers and divers,they like to wade and perch on the edge of the water.They whistle a lot.They do not quack!

i would like to hear a whistling duck whistle as much as I would like to hear a catbird meow!
