Buff Striped Keelback

Amphiesma stolatum

Description:

As with most snakes there is huge variation in colour, but this one certainly had a buff head. It was about 70cm long. Common in South China.

Habitat:

Grassland and woods.

Notes:

I looked at a piece of hose and thought it wasd snake and then I looked closer and next to the hose was this snake...I didn't see it first time, lucky it is not poisonous...unless you are a frog!
