Plumose Anemone

Metridium senile

Description:

This anemone surprised me, as the tide pool I found it in was pretty far from the water compared to the other tide pools. If you look closely, you can see some springtails on the anemone and floating on the water

Habitat:

In a tide pool pretty far from the water's edge. It was living in a small crevice that probably has water most of the time because it is sheltered by the rocks.
