Dogwood

Description:

This is one of the largest Dogwood trees I've ever seen, and it's in my backyard! I believe it is a flowering dogwood, because it flowered early in the Spring, but I'm not sure if there is a more specific species name.

Thank you! Your comment has given me a whole new way to perceive trees!

Lovely tree, and in your own backyard!!
We could not exist as we do if there were no trees. A mature leafy tree produces as much oxygen in a season as 10 people inhale in a year. Congratulations, KeatonFuller, you and 9 others are breathing good oxygen because of your tree.
