Golden-fronted Woodpecker

Description:

Black and white striped back and a plain, gray belly. This male has a large orange patch on the back of the head, smaller red patch on top of the head, and smaller gold patch at the base of the bill.

Habitat:

At the feeding station at Laguna Atascosa NWR.
