Approximately 12 to 15 cm. It was hopping/flying short distances from one tree branch to another. Its behavior reminded me of some of the warblers I have seen, but I know it is not a warbler.

How did it behave and how large would you say it was?

No. The bird wouldn't cooperate. I thought it might be a blue-gray gnatcatcher too, but I don't see white on the tail feathers I have observed in other birds.

Any shots where we can see the rump? I'm thinking Blue-gray Gnatcatcher.
