Description:

The plant grows out of the litter horizon, very low to the ground. Each flower is about the size of an American quarter in diameter and has 5 purple petals. Possibly in the vervain family.

Habitat:

wooded area if city park.

Notes:

These are some of the first flowers to bloom in South Korea. I've been seeing them since early April.
