Eastern Phoebe

Sayornis phoebe

Description:

A small flycatcher in Eastern North America, the Eastern Phoebe can frequently be seen diving and perching on cattails, which surprisingly can hold the bird upright!

Habitat:

On a cattail in the pond. I think I saw two or three there.

Notes:

First of year!
