Amblyrhynchus cristatus
Galapagos Iguana
I love the picture of the female digging to lay her eggs. In the time I visited Fernandina, I had a very poor tele, but it was good enough for keep myself out of the "safe area" and still make a good picture. My wife used to work at the FCD and she told me that once an inguana decided to digg in front of the main office, pushing everyone to choose a different way to get in (It was in year 2000 i guess).
Very nice series, Gustavo. Thanks! Of course you got a few Galapagos Sea Lions mixed in there. Also, in your series, you have a female digging a hole to lay her eggs! - Was this taken on Punta Espinoza, Fernandina?
