Bullock's Oriole (female)

Icterus bullockii

Description:

Female Bullock's Oriole. Similar to the male but paler. Orange-yellow on head and chest, fading to yellow on lower chest and tail. Greyish-yellow on belly. Grey-brown on birds with whitle bar. Head, throat and around the eyes is a faded black. Bill is medium length and pointy.

Habitat:

From open areas to large bushy trees.

Notes:

This one was on the fence and was finding nesting material and flew to a large Oak tree in an open area.
