Longicorn

Batocera celebica magica

Description:

Family Cerambycidae, I love how longhorn beetles are also called longicorns, Has that 'mystical' feel to it.

Habitat:

Found this sitting in the entrance of our cottage in a hot spring resort. The surrounding habitat is mostly dense forest cover, and very humid.

Notes:

Found in the morning, it was sluggish in movement, making it easy to catch and shoot (my mom found in first though). Brought it home, and was wondering what is its diet? Thanks to bayucca for the ID! :D

The extension of the white spots/patches might be variable. Note that there is no reddish spots on the head (so it is not Batocera rubus).
Please, verify anyway!!
