Convergent Line Lady Beetle

Hippodamia convergens

Description:

Lady Beetle with up to 13 black spots, 6 on each forewing and one spot between the forewings. Some have no spots. They are identified by the two white converging lines on the back of their thorax.

Habitat:

On a goldenrod leaf in a wildlife habitat garden. The goldenrod has aphids.

Notes:

This one appears to have a small fungus spot on its elytra.
