Billbug

Sphenophorus destructor

Description:

Could someone please confirm this as Sphenophorus destructor?

Habitat:

On some dandelions near a cornfield.

Notes:

Lifer! I read that on BugGuide that this species is considered a pest of corn and its range is expanding rapidly into the Northeast. This was found near a cornfield, so I am assuming this is the correct species.
