What Bird Specie nest could this be? It was by a lake.

could be Charadrius hiaticula nest.
According to wiki, "they are rare vagrants to western Europe, usually late in the year"...But they do not reproduce in Europe, so it must be another species:http://www.biokids.umich.edu/critters/Ch...
I think it could be killdeer eggs but will try to go and check the place again so I can see which species are around the nest.
I know, it looks more like a kildeer egg, but it could belong in one of the common ringed plover subspecies...
