Assassin Bug

Description:

This Assassin Bug looked surprisingly like a milkweed bug at first glance. Maybe that helps it get close to possible prey? Family Reduviidae, 2 cm long.

Habitat:

Came to the lights of the Highway Toll Booth outside of Arriaga, Chiapas.
