Goat's Foot

Ipomoea pes-caprae

Description:

Low lying plant, with broad leaves and frail(?) but lovely pink flowers. I love how they're called Goat's feet.

Habitat:

Just along the seashore.

Notes:

Apparently, it's subsp. I. pes-caprae brasiliensis, is used in Brazilian folk medicine to treat inflammations and gastrointestinal disorders.
