Red-veined Dropwing

Trithemis arteriosa

Description:

Small, slender, bright red, with bright red wing veins and black on side of tip of abdomen. Very common at still water throughout South Africa.

Habitat:

Mbuluzi Game Reserve Very common and abundant throughout Southern Africa in pools, dams, marshes and still and sluggish reaches of rivers..

Geez, i am unsure on this beauty. My best guess would be a Redgannet's dragonfly maybe?
