Mangrove fan palm

Licuala spinosa

Description:

Spiky stems

Habitat:

Notes:

L. spinosa can be easily confused with L. ferruiginea (Fan Palm). The trick is to look at the leaf stalk for presence or absence of prominent spines respectively.

Thanks so much, Dan! It was L. spinosa, for the spiny stems. Maybe the yellow edges was chlorosis or something.
