Peregrine Falcon- Falco peregrinus

Description:

White Breast, Dark Crown, Dark "mustache", 12"-15" in length, orange legs and feet, short beak, yellow around eyes

Habitat:

Estuary

Notes:

Spotted while kayaking in Morro Bay Estuary. Was perched on a pole. Took off to hunt some shore birds about 400 meters from perch. Watched as it did two U-shaped high speed dives. Failed Hunt.
