Praying Mantis Nymph

Description:

I'm hoping that some buggy experts will ID this for me as I have no idea whether it's a native (Carolina) mantis or import (Chinese).

Notes:

Spotted on an English ivy leaf outside an events building near Pigeon Forge, TN.

I think you may be right. Thanks, Forest Dragon! :)

I believe your nymph is probably a Chinese Mantid. Carolina Mantis nymphs seem to look a bit different, though nymphs can be difficult to ID. This is my best guess, but it is a guess.
