I sure would love to find one of these! I guess we don't have these in the Americas. The ones in Australia are rounder and this one is more elongate and looks more like some kind of Lampyrid. Very neat.
Lauren. You did it for me. I found this excellent paper. List of specimens of the tribe Cossyphini (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae) kept in the National Museum, Praha. And narrowed it down to. 1. Cossyphus (Acontodactylus) limbatus Pascoe, 1887 Cossyphus (Acontodactylus) limbatus Pascoe, 1887: SCUPOLA (2000): 207. Material examined. CAMBODIA: ‘Cambodia mer., Takeo, 5.v.[19]84, Frühbauer lgt.’, 2 spec. (1 NMPC, 1 JHAC); ‘Cambodia centr., Phnom Penh, 20.12.[19]84, Frühbauer lgt.’, 1 spec. (NMPC). Distribution. Species known from Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, and probably also from the Philippines (SCUPOLA 2000). Thank you so much.

Could this be a flat Darkling Beetle Tribe Heleini of the Tenebrionidae?
Great find.
Looks for me like a Lampyridae, Firefly??
