Peter I am sad to say it is believed Fissure died. There was a huge red algae bloom in the winter of 1987 and many well know and loved seals died. Fissure wasn't found but he hasn't been seen again.

That was the neat discovery .... each fluke is not only distinct but also very beautiful... like a painting, exactly!
