Description:

Small, relatively, low growing plant. Base leaves are kidney shaped, next leaves up from that are lobed. Leaves nearest to flowers are more elongated and lobed or lanceolate. Flowers have five short, yellow petals with a green center. Somewhat star shaped. Native wildflower.

Habitat:

Suburban woodlands with a stream.
