Description:

Herbaceous plant. Has ovate to lanceolate leaves. Whole plant is covered in a silvery hair. Flowers are composite and cream colored. Male and female flowers are produced on separate plants. These are female flowers. Native wildflower.

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Petersburg National Battlefield Park, Virginia.
