Description:

Low growing plant with trifolate leaves. Leaflets are round to slightly oval with a pale crescent. White flowers with pink or purple tinting.

Habitat:

Suburban yard. Commonly found in grassy areas.

Notes:

Used for forage. Edible and nutritious. High in protein. Leaves are more easily digested by humans if first boiled. Seeds can be ground for flour.
