Graphosoma lineatum italicum
Graphosoma lineatum is a species of shield bug in the family Pentatomidae. The date for the spotting is really the season here for the propagation of this species. Every few withering dogwood had a couple mating.
Meadowland
The bold red and black warning colours indicate that the insects are foul-tasting, protecting them from predators. The nymphs have no the red-black stripe pattern, they are mostly brownish or grayish.
