Small, erect plant. Lance shaped leaves on stem, base leaves toothed with a large terminal lobe and small side lobes. Elongated clusters of tiny white flowers with four petals each. Seed pods flat and rounded. Edible.

Seeds have a peppery taste and can be used to season food. Young leaves can be used in salads or cooked as greens. Mostly considered a weed.
