A marine creature of a type I have never seen before. It has a central tubular section of soft tissue with wing like appendages of more semi rigid tissue. There is no apparent head or mouth or anus.

Habitat:

Snagged while fishing in waters off Phuket, Thailand

Looks like a species of sea pen: colonial marine cnidarians belonging to the order Pennatulacea.
