Kudzu

Pueraria lobata

Description:

The vine that ate the South, just getting started in these photos. Invasive species with crazy fast growth, extremely hardy. In some areas, you can drive along the highway and see nothing but kudzu-covered trees. Weird thing is, it's a very useful plant in many ways, but it smothers everything.
