Wild Radish

Raphanus raphanistrum

Description:

Comes in several colors, pale yellow in the Southeast U.S. Apparently an invasive species in some parts of the world, but I don't see much of it here. Didn't want to pull the plant up just to check, but I read that it has a taproot like commercially grown radishes, but not as large.

This photo dates back to before I knew how to take a good plant spotting, and I've only seen other colors of wild radish on PN ... but, I'm on the lookout!
