Description:

A perennial or annual flower which can grow to 5–6" tall, with alternately branching blue-green foliage. The flowers are solitary on long stems, silky-textured, with four petals; flower color ranges from yellow to orange, blooming from February to September.

Habitat:

Found throughout California, extending to Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Sonora and northwest Baja California.
