A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
At 5:30 p.m. in the afternoon, I looked out through a window, and I saw two doves, resting on top of a roof. I do not have a telephoto lens, so I was not able to identify, which species of doves these were. Pigeons and doves, constitute the bird family Columbidae, which includes about 310 species. Pigeons and doves, are stout-bodied birds with short necks, and short slender bills. They primarily feed on seeds, fruits, and plants.
