Columba livia
Rock Pigeons, or also known simply as just "pigeons," are common birds in many areas. They are found in a variety of colors and patterns, however, the most common color being gray. These birds are know by their unique field mark of having black bills with a white line, red eyes, and pink-colored feet.
Their habitat can be in farmland, urban areas, and rocky cliffs. May gather in large flocks in urban parks where people feed them.
These rock pigeons eat by pecking at food on the ground and drink by placing their bill in water, using it like a straw. These pigeons can coo and bow, when threatening a rival, they inflate their throats and walk in a circle.
