Eight Spotted Forester Moth Caterpillar

Description:

This has the orange and white bands of that species. Found on a garden plant which it was not consuming--but probably wandered over to.

Habitat:

Spotted at a home here in Williamsville , NY.

Notes:

Photo taken by one of my fellow gardeners in the village here.
