Psyllid nymph

Description:

This psyllid bug was wandering about on these galls. Initially I thought the bug was the cause of the galls, as they sometimes do but these galls were all habitated by larvae of hymenoptera (pic 4). Similar psyllid bugs hide under lerps (covers) that they build. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/213... Others are free living as nymphs, not building a lerp at all and these seem to have a fluffy bum. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/324...
