Bee Fly

Description:

Only angle I got on camera but the top of the abdomen showed white stripes except one at the end which was tan. The thorax has tan hairs. Wings are clear except the outside edge which is smoky. This fly is a bee mimic and was about 7mm long.

Habitat:

Goldenbush in chaparral
