Sherardia arvensis

Description:

Small ground cover flower mounding no higher than 2 inches but with a diameter of up to 4 inches. Very tiny 4 petal purple flowers all along the extended “slightly fuzzy” stems. Clusters of small elliptical leaves. Would likely be described as a weed.

Habitat:

West central ga in full sun, poor quality, acidic soil
