Honey Bee

Description:

Honey Bee The size of a honey bee can range from 0.4 to 0.6 inches in length. The honey bee can live up to five years in the wild. The food that these bees eat is pollen and nectar, which is also what they use to build their nests. The job of the queen bee is to lay the eggs that will help with the next generation of bees. The queen bee also produces chemicals that control the behavior of the other bees. Once winter comes the hive will have to survive with what it has and could even be destroyed if in vulnerable spot outdoors.
