To correctmy comment. I'm not really good with the anatomy of spiders. Even though isn't the abdomen of the cross orbweaver bigger than the one in the picture?

Nice find! Welcome to Project Noah, as well! This looks like one of the larger orbweaver spiders. The markings on the abdomen seem consistent with Araneus diadematus. You can compare your image to the ones on the link I provided.
